It’s exquisite, pure white stalactites and stalagmites and wide array of natural colors from the mineral-rich limestone bedrock makes it one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the country. Guided Tours Daily

Summer Session: May 1-September 30. Open daily, 9:00am-5:00pm. Tours available are: 

  Natural Wonder Tour: Walk through sections of the cavern that are covered in white formations and exquisite colors. Learn about local geology and the unique cavern environment. Tour takes approximately one hour. 
  Historic Tours: Retrace the steps that early explorers took when the cavern was first discovered in 1897. This tour dives into the rich history of one of Ohio’s oldest attractions. Tour takes approximately one hour. 
  Limestone Tour: Available by reservation only, this tour is a section that was newly opened in 2012. It is designed and available specifically for people with limited mobility, and takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. This section is included on the Natural Wonder tour. 

Winter Session: October 1-April 30 Open daily, 10:00am-4:00pm. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Tours available are: 
  Winter Tour: The Winter tour is a blend of the Historic and Natural Wonder areas. Our off season guests receive a balance of history and geology, and are led through the most decorated parts of the cavern. Tour takes approximately one hour.
