Don Scott Promotions to Add Antique Extravaganza Next Year in Washington Court House, Ohio Staff Writer Nancy Wilson Washington Court House, Ohio, was the first antique show & flea market my husband and I ever attended. For years we regularly drove the approximate 40 miles from Columbus, Ohio to Washington CH to attend the event and loved every minute of it. Then all of a sudden it seems it was gone. "Is that what’s botherin’ ya’, Bunky?" as Old Philosopher, Eddie Lawrence used to say. "Well lift your head up high; take a walk in the sun; and never give up, never give up, never give up THAT SHIP!" Don Scott Promotions is bringing back a modern day version by expanding his events to Washington Court House. Antique Extravaganza will begin April 29, 2016 at the Fayette County Fairgrounds there. The 3-day show will run on Friday & Saturday 9am – 6pm and Sunday from 10 to 4. These days hubby and I now live in Springfield, Ohio, and travel to the Scott Antique Market in Columbus, again 40 miles away from us, but his shows there aren’t frequent enough for us – only January and March, November and December. Now the Antique Extravaganza will be held April 29-May 1, June 24-26, August 26-28 and September 30-October 2 in Washington Court House. Yippee! The fairground is close to major freeways; there’s plenty of parking, camping & showers available, plenty of setup space outside, but also open-air and air-conditioned buildings.
